You Can Learn to Trust Yourself Again
From the “Notes to the One Still Becoming” series
Dear Becoming One,
Maybe you’ve gotten it wrong before.
Maybe you stayed too long.
Maybe you left too early.
Maybe you loved someone who didn’t know how to be loved.
Or maybe you forgot yourself trying to be everything for everyone else.
And now, maybe you don’t fully trust your own heart.
Maybe the silence inside you feels like a place you’re scared to return to.
But I want you to know this:
You can learn to trust yourself again.
You’re not as lost as you think.
Your intuition is still in there - quiet, but alive.
It's just waiting for you to stop doubting.
To stop saying “I always choose wrong.”
To stop calling yourself naive just because you had hope.
You didn’t mess up.
You loved.
You tried.
You showed up with sincerity in a world that sometimes rewards performance instead of truth.
And that takes a kind of strength most people will never understand.
You’re allowed to get it wrong and still trust yourself.
You’re allowed to change your mind.
To grow into someone new and follow your voice-
Even if it sounds different now.
Even if it’s softer.
Even if you're still learning how to speak.
Trust doesn’t come back overnight.
But it can grow - quietly, gently, like the way dawn returns to the sky after a long night.
So today, try this:
Place your hand on your chest.
Close your eyes.
And say softly:
“I forgive myself. I believe in myself. I am safe with me.”
Even if your voice shakes.
Even if you don’t fully believe it yet.
You’re learning to come home to yourself.
And that is one of the bravest things you’ll ever do.
With belief in the beauty rising inside you,
-Someone who’s still learning to listen to their own heart too.🌸✨
